“We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are dishonored!” (1 Corinthians 4:10, )

Indian Believers Party (IBP)Political Involvement of Men of God and Government Services

Isaiah 62:3 – “Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.”
The relationship between religious leaders and politics is historically complex. Many Christians believe that their faith is confined to spiritual and church life. However, biblical references provide a clear mandate for Christian leaders to engage in governance.
Our AIIC-Diocese mission and passion are to develop God-loving people in various government departments and politics to ensure good governance. As men of God, we preach and practice the Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Luke 13:32 – “And he said unto them, go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.”
This verse clearly shows Jesus Christ’s courage and boldness in correcting local governance. Inspired by this, AIIC Diocese has taken the responsibility to start a Christian political party in India to fight against injustices toward the Christian community.

The Establishment of the Indian Believers Party (IBP): A Mission for Christian Rights and Justice in India

The Indian Believers Party (IBP) was founded under the divine guidance of the Holy Spirit and with the dedicated prayers of AIIC Diocese pastors and bishops. This political movement was born out of necessity—to give a voice to the voiceless Christian community in India, which has long suffered persecution, discrimination, and injustice.

Why Was the Indian Believers Party (IBP) Established?

Despite the constitutional guarantee of religious freedom, the reality is different:

  • Churches are being destroyed.
  • Pastors are being attacked, falsely arrested, and even killed.
  • Christian communities are facing social and economic discrimination.
  • Laws like anti-conversion bills are misused to harass Christians.
  • No dedicated Christian MPs or MLAs are fighting for Christian rights in Parliament or state assemblies.
  • Mainstream political parties ignore Christian persecution.
  • No national political leader has taken a firm stand against attacks on churches, pastors, and believers.
  • No party fights against anti-Christian violence.
  • No compensation or aid is provided to persecuted Christian families.
  • Christian educational and charitable institutions face government restrictions.

Objectives of the Indian Believers Party (IBP)

Protecting Christian Rights -

Ensuring that Christians can freely practice their faith without fear of violence or legal harassment.

Fighting Against Church Persecution –

Advocating for justice when churches are vandalized, pastors are attacked, or Christian communities are displaced.

Political Representation for Christians -

Electing Christian leaders to Parliament and state assemblies who will boldly raise Christian concerns.

Opposing Anti-Christian Laws –

Challenging anti-conversion laws and other legislations misused against Christians.

Promoting Christian Welfare –

Ensuring Christian communities receive government support in education, employment, and social welfare.

Legal Assistance for Persecuted Christians –

Providing legal aid to pastors and believers facing false accusations or arrests.

Uplifting Christian Youth and Leaders –

Encouraging Christian youth to take leadership roles in politics, administration, and social service.

Chhattisgarh & Madhya Pradesh – Tribal Christians are attacked under false claims of "forced conversions." Villages have expelled entire Christian families.

Uttar Pradesh – Pastors are frequently arrested, and anti-conversion laws are used to harass Christian gatherings.

Karnataka & Odisha – Churches have been burned, and mobs have violently attacked Christian communities.

Jharkhand & Gujarat – Tribal Christians are denied basic rights, and local authorities often side with extremists.

Tamil Nadu & Telangana – Pastors are regularly arrested under false cases, and Christian ministries face heavy government scrutiny.

Manipur & Northeast India – Ethnic and religious violence has displaced thousands of Christians, with many churches burned.

Let us all come together and join this great movement for our God and our nation. Let us make a significant difference by impacting and supporting with the resources that God has given us.

"Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5:10) 🙏

The Indian National Congress (INC) was originally founded with the help of A.O. Hume, a British civil servant. However, over the years, the party has failed to protect Christian rights in India.

Sonia Gandhi’s Catholic Background and Lack of Christian Support

Despite her Christian background, she has done little to uplift or defend the Christian community in India.

  • No Christian leaders have been given key positions in the cabinet.
  • No strong action has been taken against Christian persecution.
  • The Congress party has failed to raise its voice when churches were burned, pastors were attacked, or anti-Christian laws were passed.

Even under Congress rule, Christians in India faced violence, false accusations, and discrimination, particularly in states like Odisha (Kandhamal riots), Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh.

Since no mainstream political party—including Congress, BJP, or regional parties—has defended Christian rights, the Indian Believers Party (IBP) was founded to fill this gap. IBP stands as the only political movement dedicated to fighting for the protection, empowerment, and rights of Christians in India.

IBP – A Voice for Christians in India!  "If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31)

The Indian Believers Party (IBP) was established under the divine guidance of the Holy Spirit and through the prayers and support of bishops and pastors across India. Our vision is clear:

One Day, Christians Will Rule India!

For centuries, Christians in India have been marginalized, persecuted, and ignored by political leaders. But IBP stands as a movement that will empower Christians to take leadership and establish a God-fearing government.

✝️ Spreading the Word of God Boldly Through IBP, we aim to create a platform where pastors, clergy, and men of God can preach the Gospel without fear or opposition. The Word of God will be spread across India boldly, and the Christian community will rise as a powerful force in the nation's governance and spiritual awakening.

A Fearless Generation of Christian Leaders The time has come for Christian leaders to take political positions and ensure that our faith, churches, and communities are protected.

The gospel is a holistic message with implications for every area of our lives, including political engagement.

1 Corinthians 12:28: "And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues."

There is a misconception among Indian Christians that engaging in politics distracts from the mission of the church. However, this view is limited and contrary to scriptural examples. The Bible provides a comprehensive understanding of reality, including political engagement.

In the Old Testament, Joseph and Daniel served in the government, using their influence to benefit their nations. In the New Testament, Jesus engaged in holistic ministry, addressing both spiritual and physical needs.

There are about 31 million NRIs living in different countries across the world. Among them, only 10 million have retained Indian citizenship and are classified as Non-Resident Indians (NRIs).

Currently, 10,000 to 12,000 overseas voters exercise their right to vote via proxy because they do not want to spend foreign currency to travel to India.

We’re like a start-up company with no funds, so any support we can gather is of tremendous value. We are looking for Christian NRIs who can support us and become team members in everything from raising funds to campaign strategy. There are a large number of wealthy Indians living abroad, particularly in the US and the UK. Altogether, there are some 180,000 Indian millionaires overseas, worth a total of $634 billion, according to data provider Wealth Insight.

A citizen of India who has not taken citizenship of another country can register to vote in their home constituency even if they have moved away for work or education, according to the Representation of the People

(Amendment) Act, 2010.

The Indian Christians in Constitutional Bodies

Since India's independence, there have been no major electoral positions for Christians in our parliament and assemblies across all 29 states. According to the Indian constitution, there is to be only one Member of Parliament and one Rajya Sabha member from the Anglo-Indian community, and one Anglo-Indian MLA in each of the 29 states.

Due to the limited number of MP and MLA seats allocated to the Anglo-Indian community, they have been unable to boldly raise their voices in both the upper and lower houses of parliament to address our issues. Many parts of these states have no representatives from the Anglo-Indian community, leading to wasted seat allocations.

In all 29 states, regional and national parties are biased towards their own agendas. We have not been given seats or opportunities to contest in local elections. Thus, there is no proper forum or bold voice to fight for our Christian community's rights.

As the AIIC Diocese, we take these responsibilities on our shoulders. We aim to equip, empower, and raise Christian principled leaders, politicians, and bureaucrats to form regional and national governments for upcoming elections. We have a pan-India network, and God has enabled and empowered us to lead a strong, highly motivated team of leaders and upcoming politicians who will contest in regional and national politics.

We believe that by participating and contesting in politics, doors for the Gospel and evangelism will open nationwide.

Appeal to the Christian Community

Let us all come together and join this great movement for our God and our nation. Let us make a significant difference by impacting and supporting with the resources that God has given us.
